Formed in 2016 in response to the increasing deaths of culture icons such as David Bowie, Carrie Fisher, Prince, and Alan Rickman. Dead As Disco are a five-piece Funk n' Roll band based in Chiang Mai, Thailand whose live shows are a "bacchanal of sexually-charged lyrics, incendiary trombone solos, roaring guitar, sleazy bass-lines and drums to get down to."
